Very interesting post, Vani. Elon Musk is truly great.
Three things struck me. when I read the post
One, Elon Musk made a remark the mission may have a 50% success rate, When asked if he had any data to back this, he said he made it up. Why comment on something when one is unsure about them or not know about them is one question. The other is, why didnt he attribute a higher % to positivity? Intriguing. If he is a visionary, shouldnt he have said 100%? This is not vain optimism but hope.
Two, his example of knowledge of the fundamentals with the tree example. Striking.
Three, why people ask him stupid questions like how many hours he sleeps or what games he plays. Why do they want to imitate him and not emulate him? There can be only one Elon Musk. Only one Steve Jobs. Only one version of themselves. Why dont they realise this? Where does the urge to imitate and copy them come from?
